What some of the wonderful clients, I've had the privilege to work with, say...
ReCreate Clothing, a New Zealand-based sustainable boutique streetwear brand looking to grow, just needed a hand with clarifying what their brand is, where they want to take it, and what their marketing objectives are.
After research, advice and a two hour + brand defining workshop via Skype and using a Google Doc, we got a great place - we were closer to a vision, to identifying what the brand's unique selling proposition was, and what was important to the ReCreate brand that sets it apart.
The team also received a plan of ideas, a press list and advice on how to execute the PR plan across traditional and social media platforms and other marketing assets, such as sales collateral.
This is what they said:
"As an emerging New Zealand ethical fashion label, having a clear image that reflects who we are is critical to our success. Frederique worked with us to redefine and sharpen both our branding and public relations strategy during a period of growth. Her purposeful and direct approach resulted in a fresh vision for our brand, which now ensures a clear and cohesive voice throughout all of our marketing materials. Plus, her step-by-step public relations plan has not only effectively guided us through the launch of our latest clothing collection, but will also provide a template for the future.
“Her purposeful and direct approach resulted in a fresh vision for our brand, which now ensures a clear and cohesive voice throughout all of our marketing materials.”

Masami Clothing is a beautifully-crafted elegant limited edition label created in Gisborne by designer Julie Puddick.
Julie searches for fine textiles, trims and embellishments from secondhand retailers, fabric specialists and vintage boutiques at home and around the world. Drawing on her 30 years’ garment design experience, and working with another garment maker and embroiderer, she brings out the best of each fabric and accessory, curating limited edition pieces of only 1 or 2. Julie and her team also create made-to-measure garments.
MASAMI items of clothing is of a very high quality, with distinctive tailoring, and often using natural and pure fabrics, assembled in New Zealand.
Julie looked to me to advise and support her objective to tell this story to a larger audience, with the objective to gain more stockists.
Together, we defined the brand and the language and imagery needed to share the story, injecting new life into social media and creating a brand document that informs all marketing activities moving forward. A key result of this was an invitation to stockists to engage with Julie's designs with a view to stocking them.
As with all my clients, the relationship is very much a collaborative, supportive and positive one.
